Imphal, January 03 2026: The All Manipur Women's Social Reformation and Development Samaj (NUPI Samaj) on Friday convened a condolence meeting to mourn the untimely demise of its community affairs secretary, Sarungbam Sanggai Devi.

During the meeting held at Manipur Press Club, Imphal, members of NUPI Samaj expressed profound sorrow and condolence over the sudden demise of Sarungbam Sanggai.

The meeting remembered the numerous contributions made by Sarungbam Sanggai and shared the grief & pain of the bereaved families.

The gathering also offered floral tribute to a photograph of Sarungbam Sanggai and observed a two-minute silence to pay their respects to the departed soul.
