Study materials distributed to students of Remedial Coaching Centre

Imphal, November 30 2025:
The Minority Affairs Department, Government of Manipur, through its implementing agency MOBEDS, distributed study materials to students enrolled in the Remedial Coaching under the Chief Minister's Lairik Heiminashi Programme 2024-25 at Lilong Higher Secondary Madrasa Post-Matric Centre.
The materials handed out included school bags, notebooks, geometry boxes, pencil boxes, pens, erasers, and sharpeners.
Launching the Remedial Coaching Programme, Joint Secretary of Minority Affairs and Project Director of MOBEDS, Gangmei Ganguiliu, stressed the importance of education in today's competitive world.
She noted that the Government, with a vision to impart education to every citizen, introduced the Remedial Coaching initiative specifically to support minority students.
She further highlighted that the Chief Minister's Lairik Heiminashi programme, implemented since 2005-06, has continued to benefit students belonging to OBC, SC and ST communities, providing them with the necessary academic support.
She further urged students to make full use of the coaching facilities and strive for success in their academic and personal lives.
The event was attended by principal of Lilong Hr Secondary Madrasa, Wangkhem Rameshwar; MOBEDS Asst Project Officer and Remedial Coaching Programme, Scheme Officer Md Alam as functional president and guest of honour respectively.
MOBEDS EE MD Yunush Ali and Asst Project Officer Md Fazal also attended the programme as special guests.
