Imphal, July 30 2024:
The RIMS Authority has prohibited unauthorized entry and grazing of animals within the RIMS 2nd campus (College of Nursing, Dental College, OBC Boys & OBC Girls Hostel) premises.
This measure is taken to ensure the safety of the students, public security and cleanliness in the campus, said RIMS in a statement.
The decision to prohibit unauthorized entry and grazing of animals within the RIMS 2nd campus--College of Nursing, Dental College, OBC Boys & OBC Girls Hostel--premises comes after several incidents of trespassing and unauthorized grazing including fishing, which caused damage to campus property and posed potential hazards to both students and public, said RIMS.
The RIMS authority is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for its students, staff and visitors in the RIMS Dental OPD.
If any individual is found violating this prohibition, he/she will be liable to face legal consequences, as per the applicable laws and regulations and may also include fines and other penalties to deter such activities, said the RIMS authority.
