Imphal, August 29 2024: Dr Anupam Mishra, Vice Chancellor, Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal called on Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya at Raj Bhavan, Imphal today.

During the meeting, Dr Anupam Mishra apprised the Governor about the activities taken up by the University in the agricultural sector for the development of agronomy in the State and North East in general, said a release issued by PRO Raj Bhavan.

The Governor lauded the contribution of the University and encouraged the VC to continue their efforts for the development of the State in the field of agriculture.

Moreover, N Khoibi Singh, Director, Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRCSRE), Imphal along with two others also called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan and apprised him about the various activities/courses taken up for Persons with Disabilities.

The Governor appreciated their efforts and assured that Raj Bhavan will extend all possible support in the best interest of Persons with Disabilities.
