Awareness session on stress management held

As part of Lions Quest Week celebration from August 26 to September 1, Lions Club of Imphal Leimarol and Lions Club of Imphal Global jointly organised an awareness and interactive session on "Stress Management and Peer Pressure: Practical Approaches" today at Kids Foundation School, Ghari.
The event witnessed active participation from around 80 attendees, including students of Classes X and XII, teaching staff and members of both host Lions Clubs.
The session aimed to equip senior secondary students with tools to navigate academic pressure, emotional stress and social dynamics.
The session started with Lion Quest coordinator Dr Ch Betholia welcoming participants and highlighting the significance of Quest Week.
Resource person Dr Asem Babina, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Manipur University highlighted practical strategies for time management, mindfulness, maintaining healthy boundaries and building positive peer relationships.
The interactive segment allowed students to discuss real-life challenges and seek guidance on coping mechanisms.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks from Victor Haobam, secretary, Lions Club of Imphal Global.
The management and faculty of Kids Foundation School expressed gratitude to the organising clubs for the initiative.
