Imphal, October 26 2024: The 66th Foundation Day of Huyen Lalong Manipur Thang-Ta Culture Association was celebrated yesterday at its premises in Irilbung, Imphal East district.

It was attended by G Dharmadas, Deputy Director, Art & Culture; KB Engarwmba, founder chairman, North East Biography Forum and Sanathoiba Sharma among others.

Offering of floral tributes to a photograph of Padmashree Gurumayum Gourakishor Sharma and cultural dance & Thang-Ta performances by artists of the association were the main highlights of the event.

Notably, Huyen Lalong Manipur Thang-Ta Culture Association is one of the oldest organisations of Manipur which has been striving earnestly for the promotion of Thang-Ta art form.
