Imphal, June 26 2025: Singjamei AC MLA Yumnam Khemchand has extended greetings to the people of Manipur, particularly those who follow Hinduism, on the occasion of the Kang F estival (Ratha Yatra), which falls on June 27 .

The MLA, in his greetings, said that Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra are worshipped by devotees on the day of Kang.

"Let us all pray to Lord Jaganath for restoring peace and normalcy in our Manipur and to strengthen the sense of brotherhood among different communities living in the State," he appealed.

Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president K Meghachandra also greeted the people.

In his message, he prayed for the festival to bring peace and prosperity to the State.
