Bishnupur, November 25 2024: The invaluable role and contribution of women in safeguarding society was underscored by Apunba Ireibakki Maheiroi Sinpang Lup (AIMS) president Oinam Nickarson during the annual celebration of "Khunnaigi Sinpangbisinggi Numit" today.

The event was held at the Indoor Stadium of S Kula Women's College, Nambol Kongkhampat wherein a luncheon was organised for women engaged in various fields including journalism.

Simple gifts were also presented to the women.

Students of the College also joined the luncheon.

Speaking on the occasion, Oinam Nickarson said that the event was held at the women's college to foster the emergence of more courageous girls who are dedicated to protecting and safeguarding Manipuri society.

It is worth mentioning that AIMS has consistently celebrated Khunnaigi Sinpangbisinggi Numit every year.
