Swachhata Hi Seva campaign continues

As part of the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 campaign, Group Centre CRPF, Langjing in collaboration with YIGP Konthoujam Maning Leikai, Free Progress Academy and Meira Paibis conducted a cleanliness drive/social service at Konthoujam today.
Officers and Jawans of CRPF along with people of Konthoujam took active part in cleaning the Free Progress Academy playground and surrounding areas of Konthoujam Maning Leikai.
Anil Kumar Bhardwaj, DIG, GC Group Centre CRPF; Padmashri N Kunajarani Devi, Commandant; M Somorani Devi, Deputy Commandant and Ph Ranibala Devi, AC also participated in the cleanliness drive.
At the event, N Kunjarani stressed on the importance of cleanliness and urged all to keep their surroundings clean to prevent all kinds of diseases such as malaria and dengue.
She also shared that considering the present situation of Dengue outbreak, CRPF will be conducting a free medical campaign in Konthoujam area soon.
YIGP Konthoujam Maning Lekai and Meira Pabis of Konthoujam Maning Leikai expressed their gratitude to Group Centre CRPF, Langjing for conducting the cleanliness drive/social service.
Moreover, 86 Battalion CRPF, Lamphelpat also organised a cleanliness drive at Cheirao Ching, a Imphal City View Point at Thangmeiband on September 24 as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign.
The cleanliness drive was conducted in collaboration with Lamphel Area Peace & Development Committee and Naharol Leisemba Club, Thengmeiband Senam Leikai under the aegis of IGP Manipur & Nagaland Sector, CRPF and supervision of Saurabh Kumar Choudhary, Commandant, 86 Bn CRPF, Lamphelpat.
During the drive, all the Jawans, Subordinate Officers and Officers of 86 Bn CRPF along with volunteers of Lamphel Area Peace & Development Committee and Naharol Leisemba Club took active part in cleaning the surrounding areas of Imphal City View Point.
As part of the drive, tree saplings were also planted by 86 Bn CRPF in the area.
