Teaching Aids Exhibition conducted

As part of the post internship activities of BEd 4th Semester of RK Sanatombi Devi College of Education, a Teaching Aids Exhibition was conducted today at the college premises in North AOC, Imphal.
The Teaching Aids Exhibition was inaugurated by Th Jina.

The exhibition showcased audio & visual teaching aids and learning materials made with low-cost items such as thermocol, cardboards, plastic, etc.
Speaking to media persons, Yumnam Surjit Singh, B.Ed in-charge, RK Sanatombi Devi College of Education, said that visual teaching aids can enhance the learning experience in a number of ways, they cater to diverse learning styles, boost memory and retention, and spark curiosity and engagement.
He said that the teaching aids displayed at the exhibition were crafted and made by the BEd BEd 4th Semester students of RK Sanatombi Devi College of Education during their month-long internship (June 20 to July 21) in which students in groups were sent to 20 different schools across the State.
"The exhibition demonstrates the use of teaching aids and its effectiveness in teaching & learning transactions", asserted Surjit.
