Ruda Academy concludes five-day Summer Camp

Ruda Academy, Thoubal Wangmataba, concluded its 2nd Summer Camp today at the school campus with a closing programme attended by dignitaries, teachers and students.
The five-day summer camp, which commenced on June 21, was organised on the theme "Bharatiya Bhasha" with the objective of promoting cultural awareness, creativity and holistic development among students.
The concluding programme was attended by Little Master Higher Secondary School, Samurou, founder Moirangthem Thoiba Singh as chief guest; Ruda Academy founder chairman Elangbam Shachi Singh as functional president; and Manipur Sahitya Samiti, Thoubal, secretary Samom Raghumani Singh; Ruda Academy Boarding Superintendent N Basna Singh; and Ruda Academy BEd College principal Oinam Ibetombi Devi as guests of honour.
During the five day camp, students participated in a range of activities including social activities, outdoor and indoor games, and art and culture-related programmes.
Traditional indigenous games such as Maram Konbi and Khullokpi were introduced to the students, who also took part in the game.
The camp also featured sessions on the preparation and cooking of indigenous dishes, along with visits to historical sites where students were educated about the rich history and cultural heritage of the region.
As part of the concluding session, students shared their experiences and opinions about the knowledge and exposure gained during the camp.
Best camper students were also felicitated with gifts by the dignitaries.
