International workshop enters second day

Kakching, November 22 2025:
The second day of the two weeks international research methodology workshop on "Bridging Paradigms: Global Training On Mixed Methods" was held on November 21 at Sivananda Memorial Hall of Kakching Khunou College, Kakching.
According to a press release, the programme was organised by Kakching Khunou College in collaboration with South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, Oluvil RC 25: Sociology of Sports, Indian Sociological Society, New Delhi, and the Integrated Institute of Disaster Management, Tamil Nadu.
The function was graced by Professor MM Fazil, Dean, Faculty of Arts & Culture, South Eastern University, Sri Lanka as the chief guest; Professor M Suresh Singh, Principal, Standard College; Dr J Benet Rajadurai, Assistant Professor, Sociology Department, GNC, Tamil Nadu; Dr (Hons) K Vasudevan, Managing Director, Integrated Institute of Disaster Management, Tamil Nadu and P Dhivaagar, Research Scholar as guests of honour while O Binoy Singh, Principal, Kakching Khunou College attended as the functional president.
During the technical session of the workshop, Dr J Benet Rajadurai lectured on "Writing for Publication & Identifying Cloned Journals", Dr (Hons) K Vasudevan spoke on the "Basics of Research Proposals: Objectives, Rationale, and Significance"; Professor MM Fazil presented on "Elements of a Strong Proposal (Literature Review, Methodology, Timeline, Budget)" .
Interaction sessions were also held as a part of the workshop, facilitated by P Dhivaagar, PhD, full-time research scholar.
