ESM rally hosted to honour veterans, families of martyrs

Tengnoupal, October 22 2024: Assam Rifles hosted an ex-servicemen (ESM) rally at Modi in Tengnoupal district to pay heartfelt tribute to those who have served the Nation.

Uniting veterans, Veer Naris and the families of martyrs, the event aimed to strengthen connection with retired personnel and honour the invaluable contributions made by the families of the fallen heroes.

The rally saw participation from 100 ex-servicemen, 29 Veer Naris and thirteen dependents.

The Veer Naris and the families of martyrs were honoured by presenting gifts as a token of respect for their sacrifices.

Various welfare schemes were discussed, with assurances that all concerns would be prioritized.

The ESM (ex-servicemen) appreciated the approach of the Assam Rifles in their endeavour to maintain regular connection with ESM.
