Promising the people of the state that it will bring development in Manipur by bringing a change in the industrial, agricultural, electricity and water supply in the state, the BJP has come up with its Manipur Vision 2025. The Manipur Vision 2025 was released by BJP Party President, Nitin Gadkari at Hotel Nirmala today.
Speaking at the occasion, Nitin Gadkari said that the people of Manipur are well known throughout the world not only for their outstanding performance in the field of Arts and Culture and Sports but also because of their humble nature.
But because of the mismanagement in governance by the Congress, development of Manipur has been deterred.
The Congress has completely shattered all the possibilities of future development of the state.
He further stated that, even though the Congress has ruled in the state for the last 10 years, yet the people of the state has been suffering from all types of problems including water and electricity.
He further charged the Congress for not trying to develop industries in the state and said that, for a state to develop, industry and agriculture should be given due importance.
Without improving the industrial and agricultural sector, it will be impossible to give employment to the youths of the state.
Even though there is enough potential for the improvement of hydro power and tourism in the state, the Congress seldom took up any initiative.
Declaring that there will be a BJP ruled government in the Centre after the coming Parliamentary election to be held in 2014, Nitin Gadkari assured fulfillment of all the promises made by the party in the Manipur Vision 2025. The Manipur Vision 2025 which was released today contains altogether 17 points.
The promises include bringing about good governance, improvement of law and order, improvement of roads, railways and aviation, improvement of energy and renewable energy and providing employment to the youths of the state, etc.
