Imphal, September 19 2024: Following an understanding with the authorities, the Trained Nurses Association of JNIMS and AANTS have called off the "No Pay No Work" strike for one week.

A joint press statement issued by JNIMS TNA and AANTS informed that the strike was called off following the assurance given by the authorities that the salary for the month of July will be credited on September 19, 2024, and the salary for the month of August will be credited on September 23, 2024.JNIMS TNA and AANTS also cautioned that if the salaries are not credited within the promised time frame, they will be compelled to resume the strike from September 24, 2024 .

Furthermore, the JNIMS TNA and AANTS have appealed to the people of Manipur for their understanding and support.
