Health mela enters Day 2 in Churachandpur

Churachandpur, April 19 2022: The Block Level Health Melas organized by the State administration in collaboration with the health department has entered day-2 in Churachandpur with Singngat MLA Chinlunthang inaugurating the first Mela within his AC at Lungthul-L village for Suangdoh Block today.

The Block Health Mela which is organized by District Health Society, Churachandpur all across the assembly segments as part of the new Government's '100 Days Action Plan' was started yesterday.

PHC Henglep under Henglep AC, PHC Sagang under Saikot AC and SSA Residential School under Churachandpur AC are the first three Melas conducted yesterday at Churachandpur.

Today, the mela resumes at Lungthul-L Primary School under Singngat AC, Songtai Govt HS under Thanlon AC, and Mount Carmel School under Saikot ACs as part of the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' observation.

Addressing the event at Lungthul-L, Singngat MLA Chinlunthang express gratitude to SDO/BDO Suangdoh Namlalung Gangmei and District Health Society, Ccpur for conducting first Block Health Mela for Singngat assembly constituency at Lungthul-L village.

He exudes hope that the Health Mela would benefit many of the interior villagers.

With three blocks in Singngat sub-division, the Block Health Melas will continue at Behiang on 21st April, 2022 for Singngat Sub-Division and Saiboh village on 22nd April, 2022 for Sangaikot Sub-Division.

Close to 10 numbers of stalls were set up by the health department at the Lungthul-L mela today.
