Lamka, May 16:
Churachandpur District Students' Union has voiced strong opposition to establishment of any pro-tribal organisation within the district and consequently declared that ATYPF/TPYF shall not be allowed to exist in Churachandpur The student body has also instructed all its units to clear their respective areas of any such activist.
A statement issued by the union claimed that the decision was taken after the ATYPF/TYPF failed to intimate their decision on its formation within a stipulated time, as was agreed in their joint meeting held on May 9."This decision was taken considering the would-be future effect to our unity and co-operation as the existence of more than one common platform other than ITLC and CDSU in the district may create controversies and contradictions on certain issues or activities at one time or the other," clarified the statement.
The ATYPF/TYPF shall be solely held responsible for defiance of the declaration and untoward incidents that results thereof, added the union.
