Kamjong DC chairs review meeting

Kamjong, July 15 2026:
A district-level Security Coordination Meeting was held at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner's Office, Mini Secretariat, Kamjong, on Wednesday to review the prevailing law and order situation and enhance coordination among security agencies.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner LN Kashung and attended by Superintendent of Police Tholu Rocky, Additional Deputy Commissioner HL Jain, Sub-Divisional Officers, representatives of the 11 Assam Rifles, Border Security Force (BSF), 11th Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB), and other concerned officials.
The meeting focused on strengthening coordination between the civil administration and security forces, with discussions centring on improving timely information sharing, enhancing preparedness to respond to security challenges, and ensuring public safety across the district.
Addressing the participants, Deputy Commissioner LN Kashung stressed the importance of strengthening public trust in the district administration and law enforcement agencies.
He also reaffirmed the administration's commitment to maintaining peace and safeguarding the security of the people in the district.
