Imphal, May 15: One recruiting officer of the proscribed PREPAK was apprehended by combined force of Bishnupur district commandos and troops of 15 JK Light Infantry at Keinou Bazar this afternoon.

The apprehendee is identified as Leishangthem Angouba alias Arjun (30) s/o late L Chandramani of Leingangtabi.

According to police sources, Angouba used to recruit cadres for PREPAK.

On the other hand, a press release issued by SP Imphal East Th Radheshyam informed that one KCP (MC) cadre identified as Md Shahid Akridi alias Boy (22) s/o Md Ibocha of Kshetri Bengoon Mayai Leikai was arrested by Imphal East commandos from Kshetri Bengoon at about 5.30 pm yesterday.

Further, a combined team of Imphal East commandos and 32 AR arrested one KCP cadre from Kakwa Pukhri Achouba Mapal at about 7 am today.

The KCP cadre is identified as Huiningshumbam Mochabi alias Luboy (22) s/o H Lumanjao of Kakwa Sorokhaibam Leikai, added the release.
