TBDBA celebrates 36th Foundation Day

Thoubal, April 15 2025: Thoubal District Bar Association (TDBA) celebrated its 36th Foundation Day today at Thoubal Court Hall organised by Thoubal District Bar Association.

It was attended by Chief Justice of Manipur High Court, Justice D Krishnakumar as chief guest, Kh Arunkumar, president of Thoubal District Bar Association as president and Justice A Bimol, Justice A Guneshwar Sharma and S Brajabihari Singh, Chairman Bar Council of Manipur as special guests.

Speaking at the event as chief guest, Chief Justice D Krishnakumar urges the junior lawyer to serve with dedication, devotion and integrity towards their profession and reminded them to not forget that they serve for the people.

A Guneshwor Sharma in his speech stated that Thoubal District Bar Association established in August 15, 1990 has seen significant upgrade with the establishment of three courts - District and Session Court, Chief Judicial Magistrate and First Class Magistrate.

Due to the establishment of these Courts many cases are now able to take up successfully, said Guneshwor.

The event was also attended by Thoubal District Session Judge, Samom Ibjen, other judges and members of District Bar Association.
