PCTV Heirok marks 16th foundation day

Thoubal, January 15 2026: Peace Cable Television Network (PCTV), a branch of ISTV Network, celebrated its 16th foundation day today at Heirok Part-II Mayai Leikai Polo Ground, Thoubal district.

Established with the aim of disseminating day-to-day news and information to the public, PCTV has been playing a vital role in keeping people informed at the grassroots level.

The foundation day programme was organised by the Peace Cable Television Network Management Committee, Heirok.

The event was attended by AMWJU president Asem Bhakta as the chief guest, while Core Group National Human Rights Commission, New Delhi, member Sh Harimohon Sharma attended as the functional president Among other dignitaries who attended the programme were ISTV Network president Leitanthem Tombi; ISTV Network Editor Maibam Helendro, Heirok Municipal Council chairperson Laishram Nungshi Devi; Heirok Pt-II GP former Pradhan Th Premjit; Heirok Municipal Council, councillor N Dilip Singh; Heirok Pt-IU GP former Pradhan A Jugindro; Heirok Pt-II GP former Pradhan L Khamba; Heirok Hr Sec School former principals M Rajmohon and Th Nimai; former lecturer Th Manglem; social workers N Shamer and M Manglem; Dorendro Memoria English School founder Kh Khogen; and Heirok PS OC L Anitkumar, among others, as guests of honour.
