MPSC rank holders felicitated

A felicitation programme for successful candidates of the Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination from Sagolband Assembly Constituency was held on Wednesday at the residence of MLA RK Imo Singh.
The programme honoured Wangkhem Olivia, Rank 15; Aditya Arambam, Rank 17; and Mutum Arnica, Rank 69.Congratulating the achievers, the MLA said their dedication and success are a source of pride and inspiration for youths in the constituency.
He urged aspiring students to stay focused and work diligently to contribute to society and the State.
The MLA also interacted with 10 NEET/JEE aspirants sponsored by the Sagolband Constituency Progressive Committee (SCPC) for coaching at Physics Wallah Vidyapeeth, Babupara.
The students were provided books, bags and other study materials.
An amount of Rs 2 lakh was handed over to the institute for the coaching programme, in addition to Rs 1 lakh provided earlier.
The total sponsorship for the 10 students stands at Rs 5 lakh, fully covering their coaching.
Speaking on the initiative, the MLA said the objective is not only to felicitate students after success but to nurture talented youths from the grassroots with timely support and motivation.
Last year, SCPC had sponsored 20 students for NEET coaching under Nachom Edu Foundation.
In a separate function, the South East Youth Organisation (SEYO) held a reception at its office in Akampat on Wednesday afternoon for Takhelchangbam Happey Sharma of Singjamei Wangma Kshetri Leikai.
who secured Rank 42 in the MPSC-2022 Examination.
The programme was chaired by SEYO president Kshetrimayum Imocha Singh in the presence of locality elders, sportspersons and residents.
Speakers said his success is a proud moment for the locality and would inspire the younger generation to work with dedication toward their goals.
SEYO presented a memento and traditional lengyan to Sharma.
The programme concluded with wishes for his successful career and service to society.
