DESAM announces results of environmental quiz competition

Imphal, June 12 2026: The Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has announced the results of the 3rd State Level Environmental Quiz Competition-2026 which was held on June 7, 2026.About 3,519 students participated in the competition, held under two categories- Category A (Classes VI-VIII) and Category B (Classes IX-XII)- across six centres in five districts of Manipur.

In Category A, Sanasam Lanthoiba Singh of Path Finder School clinched the first position, while Khullakpam Mubashir of VN Model English High School won the second place and Wahengbam Sobjit Singh of Mahei Leikol Kids Foundation secured the third position.

Consolation prizes were awarded to Laishram Kabir Singh of Standford Photon School, Prinson Moirangthem of Padma Ratna English School, Amom Delin Singh of Path Finder School, Adarsh Sapam of KM Blooming Hr Sec School, Thoinaobi Elangbam of BM School of Excellent Learning, Kh Pamheiba of TN Memorial Academy, Laimayum Jolly Devi of Modem Hr See School, and Joyshree Chabungbam of Standford Photon School.

In Category B, Mahananda Nongthombam of Herbert Hr Sec School bagged the first position, while Roshan Khundrakpam and Athoibi Khundrakpam, both from KM Blooming Hr Sec School, secured the second and third positions respectively.

The consolation prize for the Category B were awarded to Sabir Anwar Khullakpam of St Xavier's School, Tharoijam Avantika of Trinity Public School, Sagolshem Abinash of Herbert Hr Sec School, Worsophy Sharon of Herbert Hr Sec School, Ingudam Malem Chanu of Eminent School, Hijam Yaiphaba Luwang of JNV Yaralpat, and Kartibas Kongkham of COMET School.
