Imphal, August 11 2024: On the recommendation of the screening committee in its meeting held on August 9, 2024, Anurag Bajpai, IFS (MN: 1994) has been promoted to IFS (Apex Scale) .

Further consequent upon his repatriation to the cadre by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India which relieved him of his duties from the Ministry of Defence, Anurag Bajpai has been appointed as Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and also Head of Forest Force, Manipur with effect from the date of his joining in the cadre.

Joint Secretary (DP) Bidyarani Ayekpam issued an order to this effect on August 10 .
