REVA University welcomes new academic batch

REVA University, a frontrunner in higher education, inaugurated its new academic batch for2025-2026 today at Saugandhika, REVA University.
The ceremony was graced by Satya Lanka, vice president, Oracle Global Services Centre as the chief guest, and Rohan Shravan, founder, Tresa Motors as the guest of honour.
Addressing the gathering, Rohan Shravan shared his journey of entrepreneurship, reflecting on his early days at IIT Kharagpur.
He encouraged students to embrace curiosity, never hesitate to ask questions, and to start working towards their dreams without delay.
"The most important thing is to ask - even the simplest of questions.
If you can teach someone, you are already miles ahead", he said, adding, "Dream as if there's no tomorrow.
If you have a dream, begin today.
The world is changing fast, and only those who stay alert and proactive will have the edge" .
Satya Lanka delivered an engaging address blending reality checks with inspiration.
He spoke about the transformative nature of university life, remarking that in four years students will not only gain knowledge but also build friendships that last a lifetime.
Presiding over the function, Dr P Shyama Raju, Chancellor of REVA University, reiterated the institution's mission of creating a holistic ecosystem that nurtures academic excellence and personal growth.
"Education at REVA is a joint effort- students, parents, and teachers working together systematically.
My role is to provide an entrepreneurial ecosystem", he added.
He also underlined REVA's guiding philosophy of Educate to Enterprise, calling it not just a slogan but a strategic commitment.
The inauguration marked the beginning of a transformative journey for the new batch, with the coming days curated to help students settle into university life while exploring their chosen programmes, campus culture, and the diverse opportunities for academic, professional, and personal development.
The event was attended by Dr Sanjay R Chitnis, Vice Chancellor; Dr R C Biradar, Pro Vice Chancellor; Dr K S Narayanaswamy, Registrar; Dr Beena G, Registrar (Evaluation); faculty members, students, and parents.
