Senapati, October 09 2022: Joining the rest of the country, District Administration Senapati celebrated the Cyber Jaagrukta Diwas on October 6 at Conference Hall, DC Office, Senapati.

Speaking on the occasion, L Dhaneshwar, District Informatics Officer (NIC), Senapati stated that the whole country will be celebrating Cyber Jaagrukta Diwas throughout the month of October.

"The main purpose of the celebration is to create awareness on issues relating to cyber crimes and cyber hygiene to prevent cyber crimes, phishing, online financial frauds, etc", he added.

He also highlighted the various do's and don'ts of cyber related matters, social networking sites, banks related matters and other online facilities through SMS.

L Dhaneshwar further urged all to stay alert and be cautious of various scams & frauds.

The programme was attended by staff of DRDA, CAF & PD, NIC, DIT, Election Department, and representatives from Banks & CSCs.
