One-day free medical camp held at Sunusiphai

Moirang, September 09 2025: A one-day free medical camp was held today at Sunusiphai, organised by the Anouba Khongthang Village Level Federation (VLF), promoted by the Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission, Bishnupur district.

The medical camp was conducted in collaboration with Arogya Mandir (AAM) and Scarlet Eye Test, Thoubal.

During the camp, beneficiaries receive free diagnostic tests, eye check-ups, opticals at discounted rates and ABHA ID card creation facilities.

A total of 250 individuals benefited from the camp.

Speaking in this connection, president of Anouba VLF, Nameirakpam Bina stated that the health camp was organised as part of Takhellambam Lakshmi's thematic programme of FNHW components in collaboration with the Primary Health Centres.

She emphasised that the camp was aimed at keeping rural residents healthy and raising awareness on preventive healthcare.

Bina also expressed her gratitude to Takhelambam Helena of Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM), Phubala Health Sub-Centre and Scarlet Eye Test, Thoubal for their support and making the health camp a success.

The health camp was also attended by Moirang CD Block Cluster Co-ordinator Kumam Lenin Singh and Mentor Linthoinganbi Chanu.
