'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign reaches MU

The NSS Cell, Manipur University, Canchipur successfully organised the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign today in the premises of the Department of Anthropology, Manipur University, Canchipur.
As per a release issued by NSS Cell, MU, the campaign commemorates the spirit of patriotism and unity among students and the community.
The programme was chaired by Dr L Santosh Singh, Programme Coordinator, NSS Cell; and MU's NSS Programme Officers Dr Kh Herachandra Singh and Dr H Suraj Singh.
The event commenced with an enlightening talk by the invited resource person Dr T Deepamanjuri Devi, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, Manipur University, on the topic, "Origin and Development of the Indian National Flag".
The session provided a historical overview of the flag's evolution and its significance in India's freedom struggle and nation-building.
A Tiranga Rangoli Art Competition was also held, where participants including volunteers, students, and scholars showcased their creativity by preparing various artistic motifs inspired by the Indian National Flag.
It was followed by a Written Quiz Competition on the theme, "Quiz on the National Indian Flag".
The programme concluded with a 'Patriotic Rally', where all participants held the Indian National Flag high, marching together as a symbol of unity and respect for the Nation.
