Directorate of Minority Affairs calls for project proposal

Imphal, July 09 2025: The Directorate of Minority Affairs, Government of Manipur, has announced the timeline for submission of project proposals under the PM VIKAS scheme, following a communication from the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India (Letter No PMV-53/3/2024-SAK-MoMA dated July 2, 2025) .

A notification issued by Md Salaudin Khan, Joint Director (Minority Affairs), Manipur, informed all interested PIAs to submit their proposals to the Director, Minority Affairs, Manipur, by July 15, 2025, following which the State Government will subsequently forward the proposals to the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India by July 20, 2025 .

The notification also mentioned that the proposals must be routed through the Department or Deputy Commissioner concerned of the proposed project component and jurisdiction.

It maintained that the guidelines and the prescribed template for submission of proposals under the scheme are available on the websites "www.manipurminority.gov.in" / www.pmvikasminorityaffairs.gov.in" .

The notification further added that applicants may contact officers of the Directorate of Minority Affairs namely Md Salaudin Khan or W Ranjeeta Devi, Field Inspector, during office hours.
