Imphal, March 09 2025: Manipur State Kala Academy (MSKA) on Sunday inaugurated the 43rd Annual State Exhibition of Art at its Art Gallery located at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Imphal.

The inaugural function of the five days long exhibition was graced by dignitaries, including Thoidingjam Tombi Singh, senior artist and Lalit Kala Akademi Awardee; M Joy Singh, Special Commissioner (Art & Culture), Government of Manipur and Sunanda Thokchom, secretary of MSKA .

Speaking on the occasion, Sunanda Thokchom said that a total of 71 artworks (32 paintings, 13 drawings, 12 sculptures, 12 graphics and 2 photographs) by 60 artists including two artworks that were selected for Manipur State Kala Akademi Award, 2022 are being displayed at the exhibition.

She asserted that the art exhibition will serve as a prominent platform to promote the budding artists and their artworks.
