Senior Citizen for Society holds GB meeting

Bishnupur, February 09 2025: The annual general body meeting of Senior Citizen for Society, Moirang was held today at Moirang Yumkhaibam Leikai Mandop.

The meeting was attended by Ex-MLA of Moirang AC, Sharatchandra Singh, Retd IAS as chief guest, Senior Citizen of Moirang, president, L Kumar as functional president and vice-president, N Ibomcha, Ex-councillor, H Achouba and Senior Citizens for Society, executive member, Ph Nilamani as guests of honour.

The meeting began with the presentation of the annual report and financial report.

The meeting also briefed the members about the activities to be taken up by the society in the year 2025 and on the enrollment of new members.

Later, the members of the society observed two minute silence to honour the late members of the society.

At the meeting, one outstanding member was selected from among the members of the society and honoured with a traditional shawl.
