Training programme kicks off

Thoubal, July 07 2024: The Department of Organisation of Pambei-led United National Liberation Front (UNLF) kicked off a four-day training programme on the cultivation of Schizophyllum Commune (Kanglayen) and Pleurotus Mushroom at UNLF Camp at Yaithibi Loukon today.

The training programme was organised with the goal of ensuring a means of livelihood for common people.

The programme was graced by Taton, Kakching District Secretary of Pambei-led UNLF and Angom Punilkumar, general secretary, Federation of Civil Society Organizations (FOCS) Manipur as the presidium members.

Speaking as a resource person, B Khogen Sharma, Managing Director, Thambal-Leima Mycelia delivered a lecture on the topics: Introduction of Schizophyllum Commune (Kanglayen), Cultivation of Schizophyllum Commune, Pests and Diseases of Mushroom their Prevention and Control and Cost Cultivation of Schizophyllum Commune (Kanglayen) .

The programme was also attended by people from Langthal Khunou, Khongjom, Tekcham, Tentha as well as cadres of Pambei-led UNLF.

On the second day of the training session, B Khogen Sharma will educate the trainees in detail about the cultivation of Schizophyllum Commune (Kanglayen) .

On the third day, Angom Punil, Managing Director, Pureiromba Farm Pvt Ltd will deliver lectures on: Introduction of Mushroom Cultivation of Pleurotus Mushroom, Pest and Diseases of Mushroom their Prevention and Control and Cost Cultivation of Pleurotus Mushroom.
