CADA would join hands with four other social organisations in launching a mass anti-narcotic campaign in Muslim settlement areas of the State with effect from May 7 to 9 .
Announcing this during a press conference at the office of CADA this afternoon, convenor of the campaign committee Islamuddin said that the campaign is to be launched taking in serious consideration of the incident in which Baby Sahani was found killed on the night of May 7 after being snatched her gold earring and silver neck chain.
Street corner public meeting would be part of the campaign to be launched along with raising the demand for punishment of all those responsible for the killing of Baby Sahani, initiating befitting legislations to stop crime against children and drug trafficking, etc, Islamuddin said.
The campaign would kick off from Hatta Minuthong area on May 7 and after covering all the Muslim settlement areas of the State, it would formally concluded along with a function at Hafta Kangjeibung on May 9 .
