RIMS warns against fake recruitment

Imphal, August 05 2026: Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal has warned against a fake recruitment notice being circulated on social media.

According to a public advisory issued by the RIMS Media Cell, a fraudulent recruitment notice purportedly issued by Sana Security Service, Manipur bearing the address "Nagamapal, RIMS Road, near Khadim House, Imphal West- 795001" is being circulated on social media claiming recruitment for RIMS' outsourced posts.

It clarified that the particular recruitment notice was not issued nor authorised by the institute.

RIMS authority has further clarified that it has not authorised Sana Security Service, Manipur or any other private agency to issue recruitment notices or conduct interviews on its behalf.

It also advised the public and all job aspirants not to be misled or fell prey to such fraudulent recruitment advertisements.

All recruitment-related information should be verified only through the official website and authorised communal channels of RIMS, Imphal.

It added that appropriate legal action shall be initiated against any individual or agency found fraudulently using the name of the institute for recruitment or any other unauthorised purpose.
