'Mahousha Ima Ningsing Tha' concludes

Imphal, June 05 2025: The "14th Mahousha Ima Ningsing Tha", a month long environmental campaign of Royal Riders Manipur (RRM) concluded today with a prize distribution ceremony held at its office complex in Meitei Langol, Imphal West.

The function was attended by RK Tombisana, president Royal Riders Manipur; M Loya, founder of Wildlife and Habitats Society and Irengbam Arun, editor of Imphal Free Press as presidium members.

During the ceremony, certificates, photo frames, cash awards and tree saplings were handed over to the winners of the spot painting competition held in connection with the World Environment Day 2025.In Category A (Class 3-5)- Khangembam Joy Meitei of Wangkhei High School, Sagolshem Purel Mangang of St George High School and Khangembam Chandra Meitei of Wangkhei High School secured 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions respectively.

In Category B (Class 6-8)-Nongmaithem Kourounganba of Heritage Convent Uripok, Sanahen Oinam of Pitambara English School and Seram Joshita Chanu of Nongpok Maheikol School won 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions respectively.

Three students from each category were also awarded consolation prizes.
