Social Welfare Minister inaugurates community hall

Imphal, November 04 2024: Social Welfare Minister Heikham Dingo inaugurated a newly constructed community hall at Khurkhul Lamkhai under Sekmai AC today.

The community hall was constructed under the Local Area Development Fund (LADF).

The inaugural function was graced by 7-Khurkhul Zilla Parishad Member, H Debendro; Khurkhul GP Pradhan, I Shanta; BJP SC Morcha Manipur Pradesh president, NG Raghumani Singh; BJP Sekmai Mandal president, N Naobi and H Pathon of Khurkhul Lamkhai as presidium members.

Leaders of local clubs, organisations and Meira Paibis also attended the function.

Speaking on the occasion, H Dingo said that Sekmai AC will progress & prosper only when all the villages in the constituency are developed equally.

He shared that construction of community halls in most of the villages under Sekmai AC will be completed soon.

The Minister also assured to take up necessary steps to begin repairing/renovating the roads and bridges in the constituency.

Furthermore, H Dingo appealed to the public to provide their cooperation and constructive suggestions for the betterment & development of Sekmai AC .
