IMPCC Monthly Meeting held at Doordarshan Kendra Imphal

Imphal, August 04 2026: The monthly meeting of the Inter Media Publicity Coordination Committee (IMPCC), Manipur Chapter, was held on Tuesday at the Auditorium of Doordarshan Kendra (DDK), Imphal.

The meeting was organised by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Imphal, and hosted by DDK Imphal, under the chairmanship of Dr Engam Pame, Additional Director General, PIB Imphal.

Representatives from PIB, Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), DDK, All India Radio (Akashvani) Imphal, National Informatics Centre (NIC), National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), ICAR, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), DIPR Manipur, Food Corporation of India (FCI), Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST), Sports Authority of India (SAI) NERC Imphal, Airports Authority of India (AAI), Manipur State AIDS control Society, Manipur State Film Development Society and other stakeholders attended.

Welcoming participants, Dr Pame appreciated the support of member organisations.

He said many departments are implementing important programmes but lack adequate public visibility.

He urged departments to regularly share updates on schemes, achievements and success stories through the IMPCC platform, noting it serves as a key link between Government agencies and citizens.

Departments presented reports on activities, awareness campaigns, capacity-building programmes and outreach initiatives of the past month, along with upcoming plans.

Discussions focused on strengthening interdepartmental coordination and using both conventional and digital media for better visibility of Government initiatives.

Members reaffirmed commitment to align communication with national priorities and support the vision of Viksit Bharat through clear, citizen-centric messaging.

The meeting concluded with a resolve for sustained collaboration to build a more transparent and responsive communication ecosystem in Manipur.
