Group Centre CRPF celebrates 56th Raising Day

Imphal, August 02 2025: The 56th Raising Day of Group Centre, CRPF was observed at GC Campus, Langjing on Saturday.

The day commemorated the immense and unparalleled contribution of the force in upholding the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the Nation, said a release issued by CRPF.

During the solemn ceremony, wreaths were laid and floral tributes were offered at the Martyrs Memorial.

Family members of our brave hearts were invited and honoured at this occasion.

Addressing a Sainik Sammelan, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Group Centre Imphal eulogised the contribution of the brave heroes who had sacrificed their lives in their line of duty and extended his best wishes to all officers and men.

Lauding the contribution of CRPF in upholding the internal security of the Nation, he urged everyone to honour its rich legacy and rededicate themselves for the service of Nation with the spirit of "Nation First" .

On the auspicious occasion, the Inspector General, Manipur and Nagaland Sector also inaugurated a Grand Mela in the presence of officers and men of Group Centre Campus and nearby units.

A friendly volley ball match, folk dance, songs, skit and 'Barakhana' were the other highlights of the event.
