Sensitization / training programme on "e-Office Manipur" held

A 1-day sensitization hands-on training programme on "e-Office Manipur" was conducted today at Farmers' Training Hall, Veterinary Complex, Sanjenthong.
The programme was organised by the Directorate of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Services, Government of Manipur, for its staff.
The training programme chaired by Dr RK Khogendrajit Singh, Director of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Services, Manipur, saw an active participation from all concerned officials and staff of the Department.
The training was imparted by a team of technical experts from the Department of Information Technology (DIT), Government of Manipur with an aim of familiarizing officers and staff with the functionalities of the e-Office platform.
At the event, Dr RK Khogendrajit said that as many Government projects and schemes are now delivered through online platforms, it has become crucial for officials/ staff of the Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Services to be proficient in using the e-Office platform for effective service delivery.
Stating that similar programmes will be conducted in all the districts soon, the Director urged all the staff and officials of the department to participate in the training programme with enthusiasm to learn new knowledge about e-Office.
During the session, participants received hands-on training on the features and functionalities of the e-Office portal including dark receipt and dispatch, file management, record maintenance, digital noting, and workflow process.
The initiative marked a significant step of the Department towards digital transformation, with the goals of achieving paperless governance, enhancing administrative transparency, and improving efficiency in file movement and decisionmaking and effective implementation of various policies and schemes of the Government.
Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Services' Joint Director (Administration) Dr L Arunkumar and Senior Administrative Officer Selina Thounaojam were also present at the event.
