State Govt, HCL Tech join hands for 'TechBee' career programme

Imphal, May 02 2026: The Government of Manipur has partnered with M/s HCL Tech to develop skilled human resources by offering a job-oriented early career programme in the IT sector for Class XII pass students.

As per a release issued by the Office of the DC, Imphal West District, the one-year "TechBee" programme will train students in IT fundamentals and offer full-time job placement on successful completion.

Eligibility for the programme requires Class XII pass students from COHSEM with at least 65% marks, or from CBSE/ISC with at least 70%, in 2025/2026 .

For IT roles, candidates must have secured 70% in Mathematics or Business Mathematics.

Students without Mathematics can apply for associate roles (non-IT).

A counselling cum examination will be held on May 5 at 11 am at the IT Centre, Imphal West DC Office Complex, Lamphel.
