'Address shortcomings of LMS Law College'

Accusing the authorities of prolonged neglect, the LMS Law College Students' Union 2025-26 has made an appeal to address the shortcomings at the College.
A press release issued by the Union has stated that a memorandum highlighting their demands will be submitted to the Manipur Governor.
Vice Chancellor and Registrar of Dhanamanjuri University at the earliest.
Their demands include setting up separate hostel facilities for boys and girls in the interest of students from remote areas; renovating the College library with new and updated books; facilitating proper operation of the College canteen and recruiting a dedicated sweeper and watchman to ensure a clean campus and for the safety of students.
According to the press release, the-then LMS Law College Students' Union of 2020-21 and 2022-2023 had submitted memos to the concerned minister, department and DMU VC to address such prevailing issues and improve the College environment.
However, their appeals fell on deaf ears, it added.
If their demands continue to be neglected, the Union has threatened to take up subsequent actions with the support of LMS Law College students.
