TBCA Triennial Conference held

Ukhrul, September 30 2022: Over 2,200 women delegates of Tangkhul Baptist Churches Association TBCA) attended the Triennial Conference held at Phungcham Baptist Church, Ukhrul to renew spiritual vitality with Christ.

Speaking on the occasion, Tharmichon N Rungsung, women secretary TBCA elaborated on family relationships (Husband-wife) in the Christian community.

"In the Bible, women are referred to as life bearers, beside being the homemaker", said Tharmichon while adding that a true Christian home is where there is peace, love and mutual trust between wife and husband.

According to Ningshim Kachui, children coordinator of Talui B Church, over 2216 women delegates were registered including pastors and Church secretaries.

62 TBCA Churches participated in the four days fellowship which began on September 29 .

Earlier, Rev Diamond Muivah, pastor Phungcham Baptist Church cut the ribbon and dedicated the conference hall by invoking ceremonial blessing in the presence of Tangkhul religious leaders.

It was followed by installation cum blessing of programme officials and functionaries of the conference.

Gospel preachers including Tharmichon N Rungsung; Rev Dr Mathotmi Vasha, executive secretary TBCA; Ngayailei Chahongnao Lunglo, former mission secretary TBCA; Chon Chon Luithui, mission co-ordinator Harvest Network Ministry; and Homreishang Muinao, youth secretary TBCA also took part in the event.

Tree plantation, talent show, counseling and choral competition were also conducted as part of the triennial conference.
