86th CRPF raising day celebrated

Imphal, July 27 2024: The 86th Central Reserve Police Force Raising Day was observed today at Group Centre, CRPF, Imphal in honour of the immense and unparalleled contribution of the force in upholding the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of the Nation.

During the event, Dr Vipul Kumar, Inspector General of Police, Manipur & Nagaland Sector CRPF; R Duidang, DIG; Anil Kumar Bhardwaj, DIG, Group Centre, CRPF, Imphal along with other officers paid homage/tribute to the martyrs and reaffirmed its commitment to protect the Nation, said a release issued by CRPF.

Families of the martyrs were also felicitated on the occasion.

Painting debate competition for KV students/children residing in Group Centre, Campus and a volleyball match for CRPF officers/personnel was also conducted.

The celebration concluded with a grand feast organised for all officers and men at Parade Ground, Group Centre, CRPF, Langjing Imphal.

Similarly, officers and jawans of 86th Bn CRPF also celebrated the 86th CRPF Raising Day at its Unit HQ in Lamphelpat, Imphal.

The event began with the paying of homage to the martyrs by Saurabh Kumar Choudhary, Commandant, 86 Bn CRPF.

He also spoke about the glorious history of the Force and the role of CRPF in maintaining peace and harmony in the country.

As part of the celebration, a tree plantation drive was also conducted.
