Imphal, October 26 2024: The Cultural Forum, Manipur organises a study circle on "Life and literature of Professor Elangbam Nilkanta" at DIPR Auditorium, Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal today.

It was attended by Cultural Forum Manipur vice president, Prof Hidangmayum Akendra Sharma; Manipuri Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, convenor, Prof Rajen Toijamba and retired Prof Huirem Bihari Singh of Manipur University as presidium members, said a release issued by Cultural Forum Manipur.

During the event, Dr Kangabam Memton Devi, Assistant Professor, Kakching Khunou College spoke on the topic, "Life and literature of Professor Elangbam Nilkanta".

A journal "RITU" of Cultural Forum Manipur was also released.
