State Level Open Patriotic Song Competition & Blood Donation Camp held

As part of the celebration of 128th Lamyanba Irabot Ningshing Thouram, a State Level Open Patriotic Song Competition and Blood Donation Camp was conducted today at Puribi-Puraba Community Hall, Khurai Ningthobung Leikai.
The Competition and Blood Donation Camp was organised by Imphal East District United Clubs Organisation (IEDUCO) in collaboration with Peaceful Club (PFC), Khurai under the aegis of All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) .
It was graced by AMUCO president.
Ph Nando Luwang; Poirei Leimarol president, Soraisham Memcha; AMAWOVA president, Y Kunjarani; IEDUCO president, T Dwijo Mangang; PFC president L Mangalsana Meitei and KNLWWA president, Telem Ongbi Radhamani as presidium members.
The event began with the offering of floral tributes to a photograph of Lamyanba Hijam Irabot followed by a welcome & keynote address delivered by Ch Okendro Meitei, assistant secretary of IEDUCO.
Speaking on the occasion, Ph Nando Luwang lamented that the State Government has failed to take any concrete action against the 10 Kuki MLAs who are openly working to disintegrate Manipur by demanding separate administration.
He also asserted that if the MLAs/Ministers truly wish to save Manipur, they should pressure the Chief Minister to remove the Kuki Ministers from their Cabinet post and demand the president of BJP Manipur to remove the Kuki Ministers & MLAs from the party.
Dwijo Mangang elaborated on the need for the present generation to acknowledge the vision & immense contributions of Lamyanba Irabot to the Manipuri society, and follow his footsteps in order to build an egalitarian and progressive society.
He shared that the Blood Donation Camp was organised to support the youths, volunteers who are defending the villages from the attacks of Kuki terrorists.
Later, a tree plantation programme was also conducted.
