Imphal, July 25 2024: The Khurkhul to Lamsang via Phumlou road has been repaired by Social Welfare Minister Heikham Dingo with the support of villagers from the area.

The road stretch from Khurkhul Lamkhai in Sekmai AC to Mayanglangjing in Lamsang AC was repaired with materials personally sponsored by the Social Welfare Minister, said a release.

Youths from Phumlou Siphai, Senjam Chirang, Senjam Khunou, Senjam Chaprou, Loitang Khunou and Khurkhul actively participated in repairing the road.

The Minister visited the construction site and interacted with the youths who came out voluntarily to repair the road which has been in a deplorable condition for a long time.

The Minister assured that he would pressure the Government to give additional attention to the road & bridges in Sekmai AC .
