DAJGUA campaign continues to empower more villages in hill districts and Jiribam

The Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) campaign continues to make significant strides in empowering rural communities across hill districts of Manipur and Jiribam.
KAMJONG
The District Administration of Kamjong conducted an Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaign under the PM-DAJGUA initiative today at Shingkap village.
The event, held at the Shingkap Community Hall, also included active participation from the neighbouring villages of Lungphu and Tangkhul Hundung Khullen, which have been selected for inclusion in the PM-DAJGUA programme.
As part of the government's initiative to saturate welfare schemes across eligible populations, the CAF&PD Department distributed 20 ration card forms and facilitated 13 new LPG gas connections under the Ujjwala scheme.
The District Social Welfare Department issued 54 old-age pension forms and 12 widow pension fcirms.
Additionally, 18 cards were created under the PMGAY housing scheme.
On-the-spot services were also rendered, with 48 Scheduled Tribe (ST) certificates and 50 Domicile certificates issued to beneficiaries and 12 individuals were enrolled for new Aadhaar card registration.
The Medical Department attended to 69 patients, providing basic health consultations and services during the campaign and 12 children have been vaccinated under mission Indradhanush initiative.
In the DAJGUA IEC campaign held at Maku village, Sahamphung Sub-division, a total of 208 services were distributed including 13 PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, 33 PM Ujjwala Yojana, 114 PM Vishwakarma, 6 PM Matru Vandana Yojana, 13 Ration Card, 16 MGNREGA, 5 Domicile certificate and 3 IGNOAPS/ Widow/ Divyang Pension.
TENGNOUPAL
The Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) awareness and saturation campaign was successfully conducted today at Machi Community Hall, Machi village under Machi Sub-Division of Tengnoupal district.
The program was attended by SDO/BDO Machi, Md Nazmul Huda Khan, Chairman of Machi Village along with District Level Officers from various departments witnessed enthusiastic and overwhelming participation from villagers marking a significant outreach to Machi village in Tengnoupal district.
As part of the event under the IEC campaign of DAJGUA, an awareness and painting competition was also organised at Machi High School, Machi.
The competition was held in two categories and prizes were given away to the top students in each category.
The response from the public was highly encouraging, with many expressing appreciation for the government's proactive outreach to such interior parts of the district.
JIRIBAM
In continuation of the nationwide focused campaign, Dharti Aaba Abhiyan - Awareness and Benefit saturation camp, the District Administration, Jiribam continued the campaign today at Chotobekra village under Borobekra Subdivision to cover the left out eligible beneficiaries.
The campaign for Jairolpokpi village has also been fixed on June 28.In today's campaign, schemes include Pradan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, House electrification, Forest Rights Act 2006, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, National Health Mission, National Sickle cell Mission, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Anganwadi centres, Skill India Mission, PM Matsya Sampada Yojana, etc were benefited to the eligible beneficiaries.
CHURACHANDPUR
"Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA)-IEC and Benefit Saturation camps" was also conducted today at the ECA, Church compound, Kholmun Village, for Tuibong Block, Churachandpur.
Ten members of the State Information, Education, Communication (IEC) campaign team which was initiated by Tribal Affairs, Government of Manipur, visited the camp at Kholmun, engaging with local people and disseminating crucial information on government schemes and programs.
During the event DC Dharunkumar S along with the IEC team inspected the stalls set up, overseeing the services and facilities being provided to the residents and ensuring the effective implementation of the outreach programs.
During the program District Level Samvidhan Hitya Diwas (Constitution Day) was also observed at the camp as part of the efforts to promote constitutional awareness and values, awareness about the constitution, and its significance in the country's governance.
Meanwhile, the two-day DAJGUA awareness and saturation campaign successfully concluded today at Henglep village under Henglep sub-division, marking a significant outreach milestone in one of the remotest and underserved areas of the region.
The programme witnessed active participation from villagers, village chiefs, community leaders, and government officials.
Over the course of the two days, more than 30 villages were covered, with strong engagement and cooperation from the local population.
