A Day with Coy Commander organised at Kamjong

Kamjong, October 22 2024: Assam Rifles organised A Day with Company Commander for the students of various schools in Kasong village of Kamjong district today.

The event aimed to inspire and motivate the young minds while kindling a sense of nationalism and camaraderie.

A total of 45 students, staff of the schools and parents from Kasong and Nambashi villages actively participated in the various cultural programmes and recreational activities.

The children witnessed the various routines of a soldier and the institutions within the camp giving them an insight into the life of a soldier.

A wreath laying ceremony was also organised at Kasong Company Operating Base in memory of the martyrs who laid down their lives in service of the Nation.

This solemn event was followed by various recreational activities and games for the participants with the winners being felicitated with delightful prizes.

The students, teachers and parents expressed their appreciation towards Assam Rifles and promised to extend their wholehearted support to the security forces.
