Sokudo e-vehicles arrive in Imphal

Imphal, September 22 2026: Laining-thou Automobile Private Limited launched Sokudo electric vehicles at its store at Khabam, Imphal East district today.

Chairman and Managing Director of Raj Medicity, Haobijam Rajen Singh cut the ribbon and renowned film actress Tete Sapam unveiled Sokudo models.

Sokudo is an Indian electric vehicle brand.

At the event, Haobijam Rajen Singh appreciated Lainingthou Automobile for launching electric vehicles, and noted that the popularity of e-vehicles among the people of the State is increasing.

Eco-friendly in its use, e-vehicles are increasingly being preferred by the people amid the unrest in the State affecting transport and availability of fuel, he said.

The Sokudo brand offers different models of two-wheeler and e-rickshaw vehicles.

The brand's two wheeler models include Acute, Acute 2.2, Select 2.2, Rapid 2.2, Pace and Plus--which come in a variety of colours and specifications crafted to meet riders' satisfaction.

These e-scooters provide a range from 100 to 150 Km on a single charge depending on the model.
