Imphal, February 21: The annual assembly of the Samuk (Tucha) Village Authority (Senapati district) held on February 16 apart from electing Chawangsinang Thiumai and Wilinlungbou Thumai as chairman and secretary respectively of the new office bearers also reviewed with all seriousness a particular content in the souvenir released on the occasion of the golden jubilee celebration of Alingsan (Khundong) village in Tamenglong district.

Highlighting that Agaah (Eyai) river draws the boundary line between Khondong village and Samuk (Tucha), a release of the Village Authority strongly criticised the golden jubilee (Khundong) souvenir that describes Tucha (Samuk) as a new settlement hub forked out from Khundong.
